How We Rank Providers

Every provider on this site is evaluated using a transparent scoring system we call the Trust Score. Unlike other directories, we don't accept paid placements and our methodology is fully public.

What We Measure

The Provider Score measures quality and trustworthiness — not what services a provider offers. A high-scoring provider who doesn't offer peptides is still a great provider. Peptide coverage is tracked separately.

4 Categories, 9 Criteria

Clinical Credentials

  • 1.5xBoard CertificationRelevant specialty board certifications

  • 1.0xWebsite QualityProfessional site, pricing visible, clear consultation process
  • 1.0xPeptide SpecializationHow many peptide compounds the provider offers, with confirmation status

How Scoring Works

Each criterion is scored 0–10 by our research team (AI-assisted with human review). Within each category, criteria are combined using a weighted average — weights are shown on the badges above. The four categories are weighted equally.

Why scores start around 50

Every provider listed here has already passed our pre-screening — they're licensed, use a US compounding pharmacy, and have a clean complaint record. The Trust Score doesn't ask "is this provider legitimate?" — it asks "how much better is this provider compared to others who already met the bar?" To reflect this, we apply a floor adjustment that compresses raw scores into a ~50–100 range. A score of 55 means a provider passed screening but we have limited data. A score of 90+ means strong signals across all categories.

Weights may be adjusted as we gather more data and feedback — any changes will be disclosed here.

What the Colors Mean

Each category uses a simple color system to communicate signal strength at a glance:

Green — Verified positive signal. We have strong data supporting this category.
Gray — Limited data. This is not a negative signal— it means we don't have enough information yet. Many excellent providers are simply newer or have limited online presence.
Red — Actual concern identified. Only appears in the Compliance category when we find specific negative findings (complaints, unverified pharmacy). Never used for low review counts or limited presence.

What About Missing Data?

If we can't evaluate a provider on a particular criterion, it's excluded from their score — they aren't penalized with a zero. Their category score is calculated from available criteria only. This is why newer listings may show lower scores: fewer data points, not necessarily lower quality.

Peptide Coverage

Separate from the Provider Score, we track which of 10 common peptide compounds each provider offers. Each compound is classified by confidence level:

ConfirmedListed on service page with details or pricing
LikelyMentioned on site or in patient reviews, needs verification
UnconfirmedBlog mention only, no patient corroboration

US Compounding Pharmacies Only

We only list providers who source peptides from US-based compounding pharmacies. No gray market, no "research chemical" suppliers, no overseas vendors. If a provider cannot name a US-based compounding pharmacy, they are not listed.

Independence

This is an independent, passion-driven project. No provider pays to be listed or ranked. If sponsorships are ever introduced, they will be clearly disclosed and will never influence rankings.

Data Freshness

Every provider listing shows a "Last verified" date. We regularly refresh our research to keep data current. If you notice outdated information, use the "Report an issue" link on any provider page.
